Karen Barr

Karen Barr is a master storyteller and songwriter. Her lyrics have the charm of a classic fairytale while also feeling fresh and surprising, often with a splash of humor. Her new album, Honey and Dirt, a blend of Americana, folk and bluegrass, is a joy from start to finish. From the jubilant, uptempo opening of Wobbly Heart, to the haunting harmonies on Flash Flood, to the tender love song I Feel Fine, each track is a gem. I put this album on whenever I need something to put a smile on my face!” - Siena Friend
